At Lotus Villa each guest/patient is provided with a personal nutritional plan for daily consumption which is also forwarded to the kitchen and restaurant. Every meal prepared is checked by one of the Ayurveda Physicians at the Villa. With experienced doctors and therapists, the Villa offers a range of treatments and therapies to help you recover you strength and stamina. Diseases treated at Lotus Villa include various allergies, acne problems, arthritis, cholesterol issues, migraine, asthma, diabetes, hay fever, eczema, gastritis etc. There are also internal detoxification therapies and treatments to strengthen your immunity system.
Lotus Villa consists of a large garden while the ground floor includes the restaurant, treatment rooms and bedrooms. All of these facilities are wheelchair accessible. The garden includes a little waterfall which is popular as the meditation fountain, an Ayurvedic herbal sauna, a stony oil bath tube for skin treatments, a raised yoga and meditation platform and a fresh water pool. The property also includes a pharmacy and an "oil kitchen" in which the oils for various treatments and medicine are produced. There is also a bedroom for physicians on night duty and the manager, a water filtering system, rooms for the staff, a launderette and office and workshop.
For entertainment purposes, Lotus Villa organizes a magician, devil dancers, and a group of dancers from the Villa itself every fortnight while weekly there are bands and music organized. Evening discussions are held three times a week with one of the doctors with the assistance of an interpreter.

If guests have time in hand after therapy sessions, Ahungalle is a small fishing village with a stunning and serene stretch of sandy beaches filled with palm trees and tropical gardens. A famous tourist destination, guests can explore the area and enjoy a boat safari along the Madu Ganga river. You can also visit the turtle hatchery or head towards the historical city of Galle which holds the famous Dutch Fort and many ruins of the past centuries. The South Western Coast is renowned for its magical beaches and water sports as well. |
