Cranford Villa is located in the town of Diyatalawa which is approximately 215 km away and a 5-6 hour drive from Colombo. Diyatalawa is situated in close proximity to the scenic towns of Haputale and Bandarawela and is also home to the military training academy. According to sources, the location was selected around 1885 by the British Army to establish a training facility and now attracts thousands of spectators for the Annual Fox Hill Super Cross races. |

You can make trips from Cranford Villa to the picturesque town of Bandarawela with one of the best climates in the country or the Haputale town which is about 13km away lying along a mountain ridge of the southern edge of the central highlands. You can make a visit to the Diyaluma Falls which is the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka located 35 km away from the Villa or Ravana Ella (Falls) which has a connection to the Eastern Epic Ramayana.
