| Located approximately 64km away from Colombo and on the banks of the Bentota River, the AIDA Ayurveda & Spa Resort is within walking distance of the Bentota Beach. Bentota is a peaceful seaside village found along the South Western Coast of Sri Lanka. Travel time from the airport is about 2 - 3 hours while the most convenient route is the Colombo - Galle main motor way. Public transport options include buses and trains that depart daily from Colombo Fort according to specific time scheduled.

AIDA Ayurveda & Spa Resort consists of 16 guestrooms in the main Bentota Aida Ayurveda Hotel while a further 6 guestrooms are located by the river on the garden floor of the adjoining Bentota Aida Restaurant Pavilions. The Lagoon View wing is the latest addition to the Aida Resort which is again nestled on the banks of the river and facing the lagoon.
The new wing boasts of 19 super deluxe rooms with spectacular views. In-room amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning, a king sized bed, a personal safe, a mini refrigerator which can be stocked upon request, piped music, a television, IDD facilities and an attached bathroom with hot and cold water.

Delicious Ayurvedic and vegetarian dishes are available on a full board menu exclusively for the hotel residents at AIDA Ayurveda & Spa Resort's gallery restaurant. For a la carte meals, Aida's restaurant adjoining the hotel which overlooks the beautiful Bentota River specializes in International cuisine and seafood dishes. This restaurant is open to non-residents as well as hotel guests.
Adjoining the guest rooms is the modern Ayurvedic Health Centre with a private consultation room, 12 treatment rooms, 4 pavilions for flower and herbal baths, and a Sauna fired by fragrant herbal woods. Focusing on the prevention of disease through a deeper connection between the mind and the body, these therapies concentrate on a state of total health based on energy and balance.
Treatments include body, back, foot massages, and various herbal baths to name a few. A large open-air swimming pool with an adjacent Jacuzzi pool lies between the gallery restaurant and a tiered garden. An open-air amphitheatre, a yoga centre and private terraces for meditation are all found within the hotel premises.

| The Bentota Beach is a perfect place to start off your holiday. One of the most pristine and broad beaches of the island, guests can enjoy swimming, surfing and a range of fun-filled water sports. There are various shopping options for tourists while excursions from Bentota include the Induruwa Beach, the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Hatchery, the Madu Ganga River with little islands, the Galapatha Buddhist Temple, The Brief Garden which is about 11km from Bentota (a quite magnificent eco park set up in a five acre garden) and also Lunuganga which was originally a bungalow surrounded by 25 acres of rubber trees which is now transformed into an enchanting park with terraces, sculptures and artwork.
