MPS Village Location

MPS Village is located in a valley which is surrounded by fruit and vegetable plantations and forest covered mountains in the village of Kalundewa. MPS Village is only 8km away from the historical city of Dambulla off the Kandy Road. The city is about 72km North of Kandy and is a major transportation hub with buses travelling to the North and North-East. The distance from Colombo to Dambulla is about 148 km.

An eco-friendly complex, MPS Village consists of 8 double rooms that are of chalet type units and also 5 bungalows. The Chalet type rooms consists of air-conditioning, an attached bathroom, hot and cold running water, television, intercom and a balcony facing the lake. The Bungalow type rooms which are the standard rooms consists of air-conditioning, attached bathroom and hot and cold running water. All rooms are simple and neatly adorned.

Other attractions in the surrounding area include the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, the Dambulla reservoir, the Rose Quartz Mountain Range, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, and further away, the historical cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa.
