A stylish beach villa with one main bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, occupying the majority of the upper floor and a smaller second bedroom.
Entering the house over a bridge of Railway sleepers above a trickling water feature leads to the open-plan living area with its polished floors. The stylish interior is furnished with a tasteful blend of antiques and locally crafted contemporary furniture.
Several sets of french doors lead out from the master suite onto a three sided terrace overlooking the pool, garden, and ocean. From the terrace, one enters the second bedroom.
This house is designed for a couple, or small family, who love barefoot beach living surrounded by comfort. the sand and grass garden goes all the way to the private beach gate where garden seating invites you to while away the afternoon. |

The Beach Hut Location |
The Beach Hut is one of the closest private villas to Galle Town (less than 10 minutes by car) and close to Unawatuna Bay.
The historic town of Galle is home to two of Sri Lankan's famous sites: The World Heritage 300 year-old Galle Fort largely built by the Dutch, and the Galle International Cricket Pitch.
The Fort, one of the largest living Forts in the world, is a fascinating look at how life can be in Sri Lanka. A Buddhist Temple; a Mosque housed in a converted Church; an Anglican Church; and a Dutch Reform Church all lying within a bell, or chant, of each other proving that peace is the desired and easily possible course for this island. |

Eat indoors at the formal eight-seater dining table, or al fresco on the terrace or in the garden. Enjoy romantic candlelit dinners under the stars.
Kitchen / Staff
The kitchen is modern and has all essential appliances. There is a steward who lives-in at separate quarters as well as a lady who comes daily. In addition, there is a night watchman to keep the friendly monkeys that often cross the roof, from getting too close. The staff are capable of cooking delicious local dishes.
Meals
The house steward is able to prepare curries and basic dishes, please discuss your requirements with him. We can also arrange for a more experienced chef for those special occasions. You provide the cash and he will shop for you. We recommend highly that you shop at least once as you will learn what is available and enjoy the experience of haggling for fish. There are also a number of beach bars and restaurants in the area.
