Cinnamon Lodge Location

Cinnamon Lodge is located at Habarana, 173km north east of Sri Lanka. Habarana is mainly used as a base to visit the key attractions of the Sri Lanka Cultural triangle.

Deluxe Rooms
40 Spacious and comfortable Deluxe rooms are recently upgraded and refurbished. Rooms are designed with a view of ground of the hotel abound with flora and fauna. Floors made of terracotta and timber has set up elevated beds. The living room with a sun lounge is furnished with DVD player with inbuilt radio. The stylish bathroom features a bathtub and separate shower area.
At your request the service of a Private Butler and in-room spa treatments are arranged.

Superior Rooms
68 Spacious and comfortable Superior Rooms overlook the tropical greenery of the lodge grounds. Superior room consists of a bedroom with living room area, and a bathroom with a large shower area.

Suits
Cinnamon Lodge proudly presents its latest complete self contained four suits named Ebony, Ivy, Cedar and Satin that make use of ground floor as well as the first floor of the chalet: with an exquisite master bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom downstairs, as well as a lounge and dining area. All offer beautiful views of the wooded gardens enlivened with birdlife, wildlife and the view of Habarana Lake. Furnished with rare local crafts, the suits are set up with elegant floors and furnished with custom-made furniture.

Jacuzzi, separate shower area, double sink, spacious dressing and storage area complete the bathroom adjoining the master bedroom.
DVD/VCD player with inbuilt radio, flat screen TV en-suite espresso machine complete the array of features.

Ehala
Ehala, the main restaurant of Cinnamon Lodge is located by the swimming pool.
The open-air cross-ventilated restaurant in the landscaped garden that serves an International menu is open for breakfast, lunch during regular hours. The restaurant features an international menu, set menu, choice of themed dining pavilions, and barbeque events.

Tuskers
Tuskers Bar is located just a few steps away from Ehala.
Tuskers Bar is open from 11.00 am till the last guest retire, serves a wide selection of cocktails and beverages, a fine collection of whiskeys and rums and a delectable array of snacks.

Ebony Lounge
Ebony Lounge is located next to Tuskers Bar.
Ebony Lounge is a Cigar and Cognac bar open round the clock. It serves a fine choice of cognacs and armagnacs; exclusive cigar selection; cinnamon tea collection; gourmet coffee specialties. The pianist and flautist are at hand. The snacks too are served all day

Treetops Restaurant
Treetops restaurant is located above Ehala on the mezzanine floor.
The a la carte restaurant serves International cuisine from 11 am to 11 pm

The lotus Thai
The Lotus Thai restaurant is located close to the swimming pool.
The authentic Thai restaurant opens from 7 pm till 11 pm offers another option for you to indulge in sumptuous dining.

The large, uniquely designed swimming pool located next to Ehala and Lotus restaurants has an adjoining shallow pool for children. Barbecue nights by the poolside can be arranged on request.

At Cinnamon Lodge's Ayurveda Spa traditional massages, scrubs and baths are performed under the supervision of a qualified ayurvedic physician. Cinnamon Lodge also treats you with its signature therapies at its spa, set amidst the herb garden. The duration of Spa sessions ranges from 45 minutes to 5 hour Cinnamon Wellness package.

Cinnamon Lodge Excursions

Hiriwaduna Trek
At Cinnamon Lodge you are given the opportunity to visit a traditional Sri Lankan village and have close view of day to day village life. Guests leave early morning with a packed breakfast for Hiriwaduna for a 03 hour trek beginning with a scenic walk along the bund of a village reservoir, home to birdlife and butterflies. Making your way through a dense shrub forests, then wading the shallow stream, you will be crossing a wider tributary by a paddle boat to end up at a slash and burn cultivation to pick some vegetable to cook with traditional earthenware pots on burner fueled by firewood.

Cinnamon Lodge arranges 3 excursions to Hiriwaduna with its resident naturalist guide:
(a) 2 hour "Nature Walk" that leaves the hotel at 7.15 a.m.
(b) 1 hour bullock cart ride that gives you an experience of probably the oldest mode of transport in Sri Lanka; 7.15 a.m.
(c) 3 1/2 hour trek that includes wading through knee-high water and crossing a river on a farmer's paddle boat called Oruwa; 7.15 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
