Service at Thotalagala is excellent with meals available on an a la carte basis. A herb garden contains no less than three varieties of mint and various other herbs used in the preparation of dishes served to guests. The emphasis is on organically-grown vegetables and fruits, available in plenty in this part of the world.
The view from the gardens is awe-inspiring and one could ask for no more than to relax on the thoughtfully provided garden benches, cup of tea in hand, and watch the mists rise from the valley down below to surround the towering mountains surrounding this bungalow.
