The menu features delicious dishes cooked of green and yellow zucchini, celery, crisp cucumbers, radish, rhubarb and red, green and yellow peppers, crunchy baby carrots, luscious purple beetroot, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower and deep red cherry tomatoes. The green vegetable salads are prepared of freshly picked from the bungalow gardens: iceberg lettuce, roquette and local red and green varieties.

Meals
Beautiful breakfasts on the shaded veranda is followed by mid morning tea with cakes etc. At lunch the guests are served with three course meal. In the afternoon, high tea is served once again in the veranda. Dinner is a three course meal. All meals are prepared following the consultation with guests. Then again all you can drink till you opt to go to bed.

"Tea Experience" tea fields & factory tour with the Planter in Residence at the Summerville Ceylon Tea Trails Bungalow
The essential Tea Trails experience conducted free of charge takes approximately 2.5 hours with departure taking place from Bungalow at 0830am. The return is at 11am. The Resident Tea Planter, Andrew Taylor takes upon himself to guide all the guests so that all could experience the age-old tea making process. The guests follow the trail of the planters of old Ceylon, through the seemingly endless plantations of tea where hundreds of female plantation workers pluck tea leaves at great haste. Watching the tea pluckers pick two leaves and a bud with deft hands is an experience that would remembered for the rest of the life. Then to the factory where the all-important manufacture of Black tea takes place. The machinery used is of very traditional British design, some as old as 100 years. The process is a one of art, craft and science, unchanged for a century. The tour ends with a tasting of different grades of this great brew. Tea tasting is another art and science.

S1 trail that begins at Summerville Tea Trails Bungalow covers a distance of 8 km. It is a trail suitable for those in search of a hardier trail. The trail beginning at Summerville Tea Trails Bungalow takes the guest through a tea estate landscape studded with interesting locations: Carfax Tea Factory, the Eagles Ridge Log Cabin, Hindu Kovil and two delightful, bubbling streams. Adam's Peak, Sri Lanka's third highest and most sacred peak can be clearly seen for around 2 km of the walk.

S2 trail that begins at from starting from the entrance to Summerville Tea Trails Bungalow runs for 8 km. The trail is ideal for the avid walker or the hardy mountain biker. The trail that takes around 2 1/2 hours to complete has a start quite steep. It takes the gusts through the Wanarajah Tea Estate.

Elephants in the captivity: Pinnawela Elephants Orphanages located 101 km northwest of Dickoya (Dikoya). bring about unique experiences with the elephants. Orphaned baby elephants, young elephants and elder elephants are taken to the nearby river for baths twice a day during which hours the visitors are afforded the enjoyment of their rollicking antics.
