We are pleased to announce that Hilltop Hotel Kandy will undergo some upgrades in room interior decor during Summer 2012. The commencement of this programme will be effective from 15th May to 15th October 2012 ( 05 Months). Therefore the inventory available during this period will be 40 Rooms.
The hotel will carry out this programme in a manner that the in-house guests will not be disturbed. Thereby all Facilities will be available during the above mentioned period. Since no structural changes will be done on the main building, there will be minimal disturbances. |

Hotel Hill top is ideally located in close proximity to some of the must see attractions in Kandy. Make a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Buddha or the Dalada Maligawa. Watch the "Tevava" or the ritual that is conducted daily at regular times of the day in which the monks, gate bearers and a selected few who have been on waiting list for years are allowed to participate. The ritual is similar to an offering made to the Buddha in other temples.
Take a walk around the picturesque Kandy Lake or take a romantic boat ride at sunset.
A stroll in the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya is highly recommended; see the tallest bamboos and the oldest tea plant in the world. In close proximity to the gardens is the Peradeniya University, built in 1942, one of the oldest Universities in the Island. |
