Villa Rosa Accommodation |
| The main building of the Hotel has 6 bedrooms facing the river and the distant mountains while another building, with 4 bedrooms, looks towards the forest hill of Bahirawakanda. More than 20 guests can be accommodated in total, but less than 10 guests give a more intimate atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with hot water, mosquito nets and ceiling fans. The de-luxe rooms have stunning views and the single standard room can be converted into a double room. We have 2 family suites, each with 2 de-luxe bedrooms and a honeymoon suite with a huge roof-top garden – on top of the world.
There are spacious common areas including a library and TV-lounge, breakfast and dining-room, terraces, balconies, viewing platforms, gardens with private areas to read and sunbathe, table tennis table and yoga platform, as well as an Ayurveda pavilion. And there is Tina, our dog.

We drop you at the swimming pool in the nearby hotel. Children love this trip by tuk-tuk. The same shuttle service is offered to town – free of charge.
You have free access to broadband internet but to enable you to escape from the stress of everyday life we do not offer room telephones! Mobile phone reception is good everywhere and land-line telephone facilities and fax are available. |

| Our chef offers you typical Sri Lankan food, rice and curry. You can discuss with our staff how, when and where you would like it to be served. Inside, outside, by candle light, by moon light…
The chef will invite you to come into the kitchen to see how rice and curry is prepared and if you are interested you can even take part in cookery lessons.
We offer a wide range of other dishes, for example garlic prawns, steamed fish or spaghetti, and a number of different desserts. Our selection of sundown aperitifs is superb. Snacks available include soup, fresh salad, vegetable pancakes or sandwiches. Lunch packets are provided for excursions. |
