The hotel with a natural charm, where you will feel at ease The Resort consists of two units, which share the facilities: The Koggala Beach Hotel and the Club Koggala Village Set on a wonderful broad stretch of sandy beach about 130 km south of Colombo, 12 km south of Galle, the capital of the Southern Province, in a tropical garden with a lot of shady palm trees. Total 190 rooms at the Club Koggala Village simply furnished rooms with ceiling fan, mosquito nets, shower, WC., balcony or terrace with sea-view. At the Koggala Beach Hotel air-conditioned refurbished superior rooms; on request deluxe rooms with additional TV and mini fridge are also available.

Club Koggala Village is a beautiful hotel set on a glorious stretch of uncrowded palm fringed beach. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, to soak up the sun and go for long walks on the beach. All rooms were recently refurbished and have a direct view of our wonderful beach.

Olanda Beach House, Galle, was renovated 6 years ago and extended in a charming and sympathe11tic manner. The 1-acre coconut grove remains untouched but immaculately clipped lawns, and pretty Araliya (frangipani) trees lead to the sandy beach for Safe swimming and barbeques. The main villa has an open, white pillared design with high ceilings and terracotta flooring. The wrap-around verandah is furnished with planter’s chairs and rattan chairs and occasional tables. You can sit in the verandah by day looking out to the sea or under the star filled skies at night. This splendid Villa comes with 4 unique double bedrooms with en-suite open roofed bathrooms and private gardens, Master bathroom with a double bath, Separate dining pavilion, beach terrace, Pool terrace, kitchen, staff quarters, laundry room & four staff members - cook, room boy, Gardner & night watchmen, well trained to make your holiday perfect, they will baby-sit your kids if you like and want them too. The cook is excellent with tropical food like coconut puddings. Main building has the 3 bedrooms, large living room with 4 very comfortable large sofas and it’s decorated with some special antique pieces, 2nd building with 1 bedroom, dining and pool pavilion over looking the swimming pool and the ocean. The pool pavilion has a pool table for entertainment. The sporting equipments for visitors to play cricket and volleyball is also available in the Beach House.

Pooja Kanda is a magnificent two storied villa that’s sits proudly atop a hill and was the home of the celebrated American Interior Designer Charles Hulse. His personal attention in designing and building the house and its immediate environs can be easily witnessed from its location to the intimate garden spaces and the design of the bedroom suites; three of which have their own private sitting areas which lead to a private balcony.

You enter the villa through a wide veranda which leads to spacious sitting rooms, hall and dining rooms furnished tastefully with ornately carved local antiques from the Dutch period. Further in you will encounter a TV room which is lined with settees and a cozy study where you can lose yourself in a good book.

A hidden rock terrace accessed by a bridge from the top floor overlooks the delightful pool which is surrounded by a natural forest which borders the villa.

Pooja Kanda is a 10 mt drive from the Southern capital city of Galle in the town of Koggala and is about a mile inland from some of the best golden sandy beaches in the country. The villa has all the modern amenities you could wish for and an in-house chef and steward who are available at all times.
