Bungalow is owned by George Steuarts Group of Companies which was newly opened in April 2010. Bungalow consist of seven comfortable warm bed rooms with attached bathrooms together with dining area, two sitting areas in two floors, open kitchen to accommodate 20 pax during meals and also with a roof top open terrace and a conference hall to accommodate 30 pax. There is a cook available to take care of meals and 2 more persons to take care of the holiday makers. This Bungalow is set amongst the serenity and natural beauty of the splendid Nuwara Eliya Hill country. Blessed with salubrious Climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains and greenery; it's hard to imagine that Nuwara Eliya is only 180 Km from the hot and humid Colombo. Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights), also known as 'Little England ', was the favorite hill station of the British who tried to create Nuwara Eliya into a typical English Village. The old brick Post office, country house like hill club, with its hunting pictures, mounted hunting trophies and fish, and its strict formal dinner attire at the hill club; the 18 hole golf course, race course etc., all remind you of 'England'. Its about 5 hour drive from Katunayake International Airport. At approximately 6500 feet above sea level, with temperatures ranging from 12 C to 22 C it opens into a breathtaking panorama of colour. |
