Designed by a Frenchman, the villa's European styling blends perfectly with the property's colonial atmosphere which harks back to a former era; Rooms are enhanced with carefully chosen antiques, shelves are filled with leather bound books, brass candelabras scatter the dining room and colonial prints are displayed on the walls like family photos beside mounted hunting antlers and stretched snake skins. Fireplaces offer extra warmth at night and lend an old world charm unique to this part of the country.
Despite Craigbank's nostalgic atmosphere, modernity seamlessly blends with the indulgencies of the past as each bedroom is enhanced by sumptuous beds and en-suite bathrooms Wide screen TV and plenty of DVDs provide entertainment for a rainy day. Plenty of interesting coffee table books in the Drawing Room offer the perfect place to while away the early evening.

Anilana Craigbank is rented on an exclusive basis, so you can take your pick of the rooms. The main villa houses four individual rooms - three doubles and one twin - while a further room is located in its own building within the garden. Each room is comfortably furnished while beds are fitted with thick mattresses and soft cotton linen.
Standard Room
The Garden Room is located a short distance from the house, near to the kitchen. With a double bed, a shower room and French windows into the garden, its independence and sense of adventure makes it a popular choice for teenagers.
Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom at Craigbank has a large double bed and open fires in both the bedroom and the en-suite bathroom while French windows open out onto the lavish garden. Two of the other three rooms, one of which is a twin, have fireplaces whilst all benefit from excellent views over the well-maintained garden. |
