Rooms
- There are six spacious, airy rooms in the resort, which comprises two family rooms and four double rooms. All rooms have a view of the gardens through large French windows. The coir carpets in the rooms, guruleththuwa for water and pelali in the bathroom, all add to the Sri Lankan identity, while still maintaining a touch of rugged elegance.
- As an eco-friendly resort, we do not have air-conditioning in place. If it is too warm, which is rarely the case, all rooms are fitted with fans and there are a few industrial pedestal fans as well.
Camping
-Basic camping also can be arranged in one part of the estate. Clean linen and mattresses are provided. To add some flavor to your camping experience, why not try a sing-along around a bonfire? However, please be mindful to not be so loud as to scare away the birds. You may have a barbecue meal served at the camp site.
Restaurant
-The large open-air dining room can comfortably cater to groups of up to 30 people. The restaurant is on the upper elevation of the resort and overlooks miles of estate vegetation, jungles and the mountains.
Lounge Areas
-There are two lounge areas or chill out zones in the resort, to while away. In the upper elevation, the restaurant extends to a lounge area with wooden arm chairs. In the lower elevation there are a few more areas to nestle up and read a book. There is also a small porch area at the side entrance to the building which opens up to the gardens below and the pool. This is ideal for a round of drinks before dinner. An interesting addition to the hotel recently is a tree house, built at the edge of the mountain slope, overlooking the vast greenery below for miles and miles. Your perfect spot, if you fancy getting up, close and personal with nature! On special occasions, a meal for two can be set up at the tree house, a popular choice among honeymoon couples.
Pool
-The swimming pool is hedged in by natural rock and overlooks the hilly vegetation around. An early morning dip in the pool amidst the chirp and chatter of the vast variety of birds, or a sun dip at mid morning, or an evening in the pool and a barbecue by the side... it is just a matter of choice.
If you are in search of relaxation..just cuddle up with a book in one of many cosy corners, or indulge in the solitude with some yoga or meditation. Or for light entertainment you can try the board games provided or watch TV.
