Guests at Sigiriya Village are provided with 120 rooms belonging to individually designed cottages that are beautifully arranged in six clusters amidst the vast gardens of the location. Each cluster of cottages are named and decorated in accordance to a unique Sri Lankan theme with vibrant interior decors and modern day amenities.
Standard and Superior cottages come with or without Air-conditioning and include an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. Other facilities include a satellite television, hot and cold water, ceiling fans, telephone and mini bar. Deluxe Cottages are also on offer for a more royal living standard.
The main dining area of Sigiriya Village offers guests a tranquil environment overlooking the swimming pool and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Meals are prepared from the fresh produce from the hotel's very own organic farm. Eastern and Western cuisine buffets are offered for breakfast and lunch while an a la carte menu and room service menu is provided for convenience. Nightly entertainment is provided within the main restaurant area. Guests can enjoy recreational facilities which include a swimming pool with a separate children's pool, tennis, badminton, mini golf and indoor games. The Ayurvedic Centre offers total relaxation for one's body and soul.
Sigiriya Village is situated just minutes away from the Sigiriya Fortress which has a history that dates back to 6th century A.D. Guests can also visit the Dambulla Cave Temple which is about 30 minutes away. Excursions can also be made to other historical sites such as Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Mihintale and Ritigala which are all beyond the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Jungle treks on elephant back and nature trials along the lake and through the jungles are also organized for more adventurous travelers. Various species of birds can be spotted all around.
