Wild Grass Nature Resort, a luxurious jungle hideaway filled with solitude, untouched nature and peaceful relaxation is set up in a wooded landscape of 30 acres: lush greenery, imposing hills and a lovely lake brings about enthralling sceneries. With the ecosystem of the wilderness being untouched, the wide expanses of the resort gardens are vibrant with wildlife and birdlife: deer, wild rabbits, peacock and 40 varieties of bird. The resort gardens area also visited by wild Elephants and wild boars.
It's wilderness with a combination of utter silence, absolute stillness of the jungle and privacy with luxury. The rock close to the entrance of Wild Grass Nature Resort is in fact scalable to those in a mood of soft-adventure.
Wild Grass Nature Resort is for the nature and wild life lovers. Frogs, insects and birds are everywhere: even at the open sky bathrooms. This nature resort suits everybody: the single traveler, romantic couples and families.

Wild Grass Nature Resort has adopted traditional organic farming methods to grow fruit and vegetables in its own gardens so that the kitchen would have garden-fresh vegetables. Some of the vegetable supplies arrive from the villages surrounding the resort. |

| Wild Grass Nature Resort is located at a distance of 175km from the city of Colombo at the scenic village of Kumbukkadanwala village close to Dunnubindunu Wewa reservoir, near Lenawa Junction off the Govigammana Main Road.

Wild Grass Nature Resort Accommodation |
Wild Grass Nature Resort's villas spaced about 50 feet from each other to ensure complete privacy are built mainly of stone and wood. Timber roofs, polished cement floors and glass sliding doors/windows rings about a blend of contemporary and traditional architecture. The modern conveniences and amenities serves well for all the comforts needed at a modern retreat. The large sliding glass doors and windows of the villas open up panoramic views of dense forest all around bringing the sense being one with nature.
One bedroom villas (1,800 sq ft): The three spacious one-bedroom villas consist of a living and dining room on the ground floor and air conditioned bedroom and ensuite bathroom on the upper floor. These villas are designed to accommodate three guests.
Family villas (2,600 sq ft): The two family villas each having a luxurious master suite and an additional double bedroom are meant up to four guests- a family or a group of friends. Each bedroom has cable TV and ensuite bathrooms with open air h/w showers.
Butlers
Each villa has individual butler service. The butlers at the villas are at your service at all times: to mange check-in, to ensure all the comforts; serve your needs; see to the laundry.
In-room facilities
The interiors are comfortably furnished and are equipped with flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea/coffee facility, wireless internet, IDD telephone, minibar, reading material, board and card games.
Each has a living room with a comfortable sofa that can also be used as a day bed; dining room with a six-seater dining table; open-air terrace; and bathroom with wash basin, w/c and open air h/w shower.
Private bathroom enclosed by a high stone wall with open sky concept further enhance the open environment to enjoy the sight of numerous birds flying over.

Wild Grass Nature Resort's large swimming pool is set up with a sundeck for relaxation.
An outdoor badminton court is also available for the guests.
Restaurant
Wild Grass Nature Resort's main restaurant built with teak wood floors and sheltered with timber roofing. The terrace of the restaurant opens up magnificent vistas of surrounding forest, hills and rocks. The restaurant caters delectable dishes of international cuisines with a subtle touch of Eastern flavors in addition to the local cuisines.
Dining timings are not fixed and arranged according to the requests of the guests. |

The area surrounding Wild Grass Nature Resortoffers a range of excursions including jungle treks, fishing in the lake, bird watching, meditation and yoga. The trails within the expanses of resort are well-identified and marked for trekking, cycling and/or jogging.
Angling: the nearby lake provides the ample opportunities to engage in angling in utter silence and solitude.
Cycling: the mountain bicycles available at each and every chalet afford the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside which would be another refreshing experience during the stay.
Trekking: the surrounding jungle and the imposing mountains are interspersed with tracks to enjoy with hiking.
Safaris: Wild Grass Nature Resort arranges jeep safari tours where the guests could enjoy the sights of elephants, sambar deer, toque monkeys and other mammals together with plenty of birdlife at famous national parks at Minneriya and Wasgomuwa.
