Governors Camp Udawalawa is a 3 acre, Secure, Jungle Resort comprising of twin cadjan pavilions, surrounded by the Kiriibbanara Wewa, located about 12 kms from the Udawalawa National Park entrance.
Udawalawa National Park is an important national park in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The reserve covers 306 kmē and was established in 1972 to protect the catchment of the Udawalawa reservoir. The habitat is open parkland, with some mature teak trees along the river. |

Wild Safari Udawalawa
The main wildlife viewing activity here is the exciting safaris in open top jeeps into the famed Udawalawa, Lunugamwehera, Bundala, and Yala National Parks.

Bird Watching
Birdwatching or birding is the observation and study of birds with the naked eye or through a visual enhancement device, (Binoculars or a Telescope) Udawalwa National Park is about 12 kms from Governors Camp.
Fresh Water Fishing & Swimming
Governors Camp is surrounded by the Kiriibbanara Wewa.This is a fresh water lake and great for swimming and fishing, there are many species of fish.
Please bring your own fishing line or rods. Life jackets in three sizes are available on site and must be worn.
Kayaking, Canoeing & Boating
