Reef Location |
| Reef is located in the seaside town of Wadduwa which is found along the South Western coast of Sri Lanka. This beach villa is located about 36km South of Colombo and the drive takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour. The drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. Regular trains run from the Colombo Fort Railway station through the southern railway line while the Reef Villa is a mere 5 minutes away from the Wadduwa railway station.

Reef offers you seven spacious and elegant suites that feature high ceilings that are lined with Kerala terra cotta tiles and unique antique four-poster canopied beds that are truly romantic. The furniture is a combination of original antiques and beautifully crafted items while the electric ceiling fans are also an enhancement to the colonial grandeur that these suites project. With hand crafted coloured floor tiles, soft cotton sheets and pillow cases to light weight cotton dressing gowns and complimentary slippers, the suites are welcoming and homely.
The bathrooms feature a free standing hand carved granite bath tub, twin carved granite vanity basins, a rain shower with a polished granite shower screen and also a stunning Venetian style mirror. There is also a selection of an exquisite array of beauty products at your disposal. The suites are named after famous water flowers of Sri Lanka, namely "Olu, Manel, Nelum, Namal, Sepalika, Sapumal and Kekatiya". Nelum is the largest suite while all suites include various shaded and spacious verandas where you can enjoy a private dinner. |

Reef Excursions |
Reef is ideally located 25 minutes away from Bentota which is a much loved venue for water sports. Sports include wind surfing, water skiing, sailing, deep sea fishing, fresh water fishing, canoeing/kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving. CMAS and PADI instructors are available. Ideal diving periods are from mid November to end March. Cycling is also a form of getting to know the island and village life.
Excursions include the Gangarama temple in Colombo, the Kalutara Temple, Richmond Castle, Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, Anuradhapura, Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Dutch Fort in Galle, the gem-mining town centre of Ratanpura, Madu Ganaga, the Sinharaja rain forest and Brief gardens.
