Sigiriya, a world heritage site is a rock citadel built in the 5th century AD by King Kashayapa. Sigiriya is a marvel of ancient urban planning, landscape design and hydraulic engineering. It has been famous for its water gardens, rock gardens, sigiriya frescoes in a pocket of the rock, ascent to the summit by way of a steel staircase bolted onto the sheer rock and the ruins of the palace on the summit and 2 intact bathing ponds.
Habarana is a village in the wilderness and an overnight base for culture and nature attractions of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka.

King Valagambahu in 1st century BC, who found refuge for 14 years at the Dambulla Caves, upon regaining his kingdom, built a magnificent temple into the rock caves. Dambulla Rock Temple is home to more than one hundred statues. The pride of place goes to 14 meter long, colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha statue carved out of the rock. The temple is one of the 8 World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.
At the ancient city of Matale, visit a spice garden and then proceed to Kandy.
In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic at Kandy.

Day 04- Kandy / Pinnawala / Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Kandy, a world heritage site is home to numerous Buddhist temples including the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Set in a valley surrounded by rings of mountains, the city of Kandy is the gateway to the Salubrious hill country of Sri Lanka.
Pinnawala elephant orphanage is the most popular elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. Most of them are baby Elephants who had fallen into pits and lost to the herd or whose parents were killed in human-elephant conflict. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day at 0915hrs and 1315hrs.Once again they are fed at 1515 hrs.
Nuwara Eliya of Central Highlands of Sri Lanka at an altitude 6,200 ft above the sea level, was made into a health resort by the British in the 19th century. Such is the character of the district of Nuwara Eliya, with its home gardens of plants and flowers and cultivation of vegetables, even today it is known as Little England.

Day 05- Nuwara Eliya / Kithulgala / Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel leave Nuwara Eliya for Colombo Via Kithulgala. The road to Colombo via Kithulgala is one of great beauty owing to its varying landscape.
Lunch at Kitulgala, where Kelani River flowing past the scenic village offers its Grade 3 and 4 rapids to nature and adventure lovers. In addition to the White Water Rafting the village is famous as a location of Jungle trekking, outdoor camping, and mountain biking. Just across the Kelani River is a small, lush primeval forest, home to about 54 rare species of birds.
